Outfit Of The Day - Sequins, Suede and Spots

Glasses - Primark// Earrings - Ebay// Black Top - Primark//
Sequin Jacket - Vintage// Skirt - H&M// Bag - Biba// Tights - Wolford// Shoes - Zara

This is probably the closest I will come to rocking the popular 70’s look that is all over the high street at the moment. 70’s disco I adore (cue the sequins), but the other 70’s styles are not for me. I surprised myself when I tried on this brown suede skirt from H&M and fell in love with it. It was the perfect starting point to pull this outfit together for my afternoon of shopping and eating cake with one of my favourite bloggers Lyn.

This little sequin jacket is one of my favourites from my vintage sequin collection and the colours went perfectly with the skirt. Sequins are a great way to add sparkle to an outfit that could be verging on the somewhat boring side (sorry but brown and black are not my favourite). But let’s be honest – there is one aspect of this outfit that really makes it pop beside the sequins – my spotty tights!

When the lovely people over at Wolford got in touch offering me a pair of their amazing tights I jumped at the chance to finally own a pair. I live in tights all year round, even in the summer, and the thought of owning some luxury tights from such a well respected brand filled me and my wee peely wally legs with sheer happiness (get it - sheer?! I am too funny!)

I picked these amazing Leonie tights as I have been desperately looking for some sheer dotty tights forever and I was delighted when they arrived. Wolford have a reputation for quality and luxury for all the right reasons. I have definitely been converted into buying more fun, luxurious tights. No more basic, black tights for me! Expect to see these in lots of outfit posts.

Check out the full Wolford Collection over on their website.

Lots of love

Never has there been a more iconic shoe than Cinderella's glass slipper. That moment as a child watching Cinderella's foot slide perfectly into the slipper was breathtaking. Then before you know it she is whisked away and married to Prince Charming no less. The magic of shoes!

The magic of shoes never leaves you, even as an adult. The right shoe can transform the dullest of outfits into something magical. And lets be honest - who doesn't love shoes??!!

To celebrate the release of Disney's Cinderella movie, the St. Enoch Centre is celebrating its love of shoes with 'If the Shoe Fits'  - on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April. 100 lucky shoppers will win a pair of stunning new shoes. The event will take place between 12 noon and 4pm on both days. To take part shoe lovers just need to show a receipt for any item purchased in the Centre over the weekend, pick a number and 'If the Shoe Fits' they win them! There is also a chance to take a shoe selfie on the throne. Sounds like the perfect excuse to go shopping that weekend to me!!!

I was lucky enough to spend last weekend shoe shopping in the St. Enoch Centre. I was spoiled for choice with their range of shoe retailers including Topshop, H&M, Dorothy Perkins and the Garage Shoes. After trying on at least 10 pairs of shoes and being overwhelmed by choice a miracle happened.......

One pair of these amazing Henry Holland for Debenhams boots* sitting all alone on a shelf, in my size and reduced in the sale - its like the thing of shoes dreams!!!! I cannot resist a pointy boot. To most people they probably look like the boots Cinders was wearing before she was transformed into a Princess or something a Disney villain would wear, but to me these are my Cinderella shoes. Best of all.....they are comfortable!! I mean how comfortable would a glass slipper be anyway!!?? Expect to see these amazing boots featured in many outfit posts.

To be in with a chance of winning your own Cinderella shoes get yourself down to the St. Enoch Centre on the 11th and 12th April and "If the Shoe fits" they are yours! Happy shopping and good luck everyone!!!!

Lots of love, peace and sparkles
